Houston Set to Finish Year with Lowest Homicides in Years
Its a rarity to hear good news now a days with the recession and all, but good news shall be handed to you today. It is the start of a new year right so might as well. Anyways, as of December 29, Houston was on pace to end the year with fewer than 200 recorded homicides. At last count, with three days to go, 195 homicides has been reported. Despite a growing population and in the mist of a recession, Houston has been steadily reducing the number of homicides within the city. So for all you insomniacs, hope you can now sleep just a wee bit better at night.
